The Writer

Albert Joseph was born and raised in Boston. Growing up, he passed regularly by landmarks such as Trinity Church and the neighborhood parishes that anchor so many of the city's streets. That early fascination with sacred architecture — its craft, its scale, its staying power — became the engine for this project.

Joseph writes and speaks on Catholic heritage in Massachusetts, and his work has appeared in regional journals and magazines. His interest is as much in stone and timber as in doctrine: what these buildings meant to the communities that raised them, and what they continue to mean today.
