Introduction: Does This Describe You?
Are you worried about the declining respect for moral values in our laws and culture?
Do you wonder if anyone else believes like you that abortion and euthanasia are wrong, that the death penalty is unnecessary, that the family is under attack, that the poor are often treated unjustly, and that neither liberals nor conservatives speak for you on every issue?
Have you wanted to make your voice heard in the public policy arena but you feel unprepared and a little isolated?
Are you looking for well-researched and persuasive arguments to give to your elected officials and others?
Do you hope for a way to change things for the better in the State of Massachusetts?
Yes? Then Join MCC-Net!
We promise you: by joining MCC-Net, you will no longer feel isolated or unprepared when critical votes come up in the legislature. Be on the winning team!
We will add you to our alert list. Expect us to contact you 4 to 6 times a year with action alerts urging you to call or write your public officials on key bills.
We will give you all you need to act effectively. The Massachusetts Catholic Conference office prides itself on our ability to research, inform, and motivate. Our alerts will be to-the-point, easy to read and simple to follow.
We will send out periodic updates on MCC activities and concerns. You can also keep informed by visiting our website for the latest news and resources at www.macathconf.org.
Only the MCC Office will determine when to activate MCC-Net. Our list is confidential. We will not sell or give your name to any other organization.
Our Vision is the Catholic Church's Vision
We envision a society that is pro-life, pro-family and pro-poor.
We seek to build a statewide network of Catholics willing to write or call their legislators to protect human life, strengthen marriage and the family, and provide for the poor.
We pray that God's grace will encourage Catholics to become effective advocates in the the public policy arena.
As constituents and citizens, we all have the power to make positive change happen!
An Appeal from the Massachusetts Bishops
MCC-Net gives Catholics in the Commonwealth the unparalleled opportunity to put their faith into action! We must begin with the protection of human life, but we do not end there. Acting together, we can make a difference! Join MCC-Net by mailing the sign-up form today!
